Who are we?
With a combined
experience of over 75 years in the insurance industry worldwide, we are two
responsible, enthusiastic, highly ethical problem solvers. We have, over the
years, worked for some of the major insurance, reinsurance companies and
intermediaries in both London and Australia. We have an unrivalled network of
contacts within the industry, at all levels, and a positive attitude to many of
the issues that face the industry in the 21st Century. Although we
have learned from the lessons of the past, we know we are working in a highly
energised and rapidly changing market and can offer a cost effective solution
to any issues you might face. As a result of our exposure to the various facets
of a changing market, we have access to specialist resources to assist in
attaining mutual, positive outcomes.
Fred Thomson
Fred is a well
known personality in the Australian Insurance Market with an ability to review
underwriting, claims and management audit issues. His extensive market
knowledge and contacts ensure that he is completely up to date with many of the
issues facing the Australian market.
Chris Burrill
Chris has spent
much of his career in London with Lloyd’s syndicates and brokers specialising
in claims and reinsurance management. He has also been able to develop a
penchant for problem solving and enabling the creation of sound business
practices and is confident in dealing with many claims, underwriting, financial
and reporting issues.
What we can do for you:
We have a wealth
of experience in underwriting, insurance management, claims management,
inspections, audit and reinsurance recoveries.
Our most recent
involvement was with Cobalt Solutions (Australia) Ltd. Within this Cobalt team,
Chris, Fred and the other members, were responsible for Asset Recovery
collecting over A$400 million in reinsurance recoveries over the last six and a
half years.
This produced an
extremely satisfactory return for our clients and the same professionalism and
‘can do’ attitude could solve any problematical issues you might have.
Fred and Chris
have set up the company to provide consultancy services to the Insurance
industry. This is an independent operation, committed to providing a high level
of service in a cost efficient manner.
